I get multiple photo and video check in’s throughout the week he spends there. He looks forward to his days here spent with many different other doggies playing and socializing! So happy to have found Allen. He has the perfect set up for my dog who loves to be outside. She enjoys playing with the other dogs, or even just hanging out with Allen and watching him work. she is just so happy there. Allen is the best! We just used him for the first time for boarding our puppy when our family went on a 10 day vacation. He was super communicative and sent photo and video updates. He was even flexible when our flight was delayed and we needed him to watch our dog one more night. He and his family are very caring and we hope to use his services again in the future!

Wonderful!! Our pup can be shy so I was worried about boarding him. We were able to come by a couple times before our stay to get him acquainted with the lovely space. I love that it's a family that he got to stay with, I regularly got photo and video updates that made us feel less stressed while we were away. Love A Spot in the Sun! Frank always has a great time at Allen's house, and I love getting photos of him playing throughout the day. Drop-off and pickup are easy and smooth and communication is good. I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful place for Frank to stay during the day while I’m at work and when I am out of town. Frank is always excited when we arrive and happy when I pick him up. Highly recommend!

We are so happy we found A Spot in the Sun! We have a very energetic puppy named Penny that loves to play and we can’t keep up! Allen is so calm and kind and Penny is obsessed. She jets out of the car every time we get there and doesn’t look back to even say goodbye. When we pick her up she’s happily exhausted. It’s definitely her home away from home and we are so grateful.

I was looking for a place to board my 10 pound maltipoo. I have taken her to doggie daycare before but she just hangs with the people and never plays with the dogs. At A Spot in the Sun she experienced a home environment where she happily interacted with dogs and humans alike. I recently boarded her for two week. I got regular updates and the videos of her playing with other dogs made me confident she was in good hands. She was happy to see me but shows no signs of stress which is so important. The price is fair and the service is excellent. Unfortunately the photos and videos came through an app that makes them difficult to share. I must admit, it hurt my feelings a bit that she was having such a good time without me.

A Spot in the Sun has been a godsend for us. Our puppy Mochi was terrified of other dogs and had terrible separation anxiety so we were worried before taking a vacation abroad about where we were going to board her.
After 2 weeks staying at A Spot in the Sun, Mochi now loves playing with other dogs and actively plays with them at the dog park. She's also more excited to go to daycare than to go back home with us, which maybe isn't a great thing but says a lot about how well she's taken care of and loved at A Spot in the Sun. This isn't just dog sitting, they really make your dog a part of their family!
